The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Hawley (Hawley, TX). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Hawley went down by Eula (Clyde, TX), 50-34, in a non-league test.
The Badgers now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Olney for a non-league test on Friday, December 8. Merkel will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 50-16 non-league loss to Newcastle (Newcastle, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 1-11.
