The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) and the visiting Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA), saw Hilltop's volleyball squad nip Hoover by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Hilltop upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lancers host Orange Glen (Escondido, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Orange Glen won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA)
