Texas High School Basketball - San Saba thwarts Zephyr
December 1, 2022: San Saba, TX 76877 The San Saba Armadillos (San Saba, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Zephyr Bulldogs (Zephyr, TX), 50-36 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Armadillos (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Brady (Brady, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Brady went down by Early (Early, TX), 59-52, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Anna for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Zephyr will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 45-38 non-league win over Rochelle (Rochelle, TX). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-2.
