The South Mecklenburg Sabres topped the host Harding University Rams basketball team by a final score of 72-64 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Sabres face the Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Conference 49 game, on Tuesday, January 25. South Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Cardinal enter the game with a 2-10 record after their 69-48 league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC).
