Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Oil City thwarts Corry
December 16, 2016: Oil City, PA 16301 The Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Corry Beavers (Corry, PA), 52-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Oilers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against General McLane (Edinboro, PA). The Lancers go into the District 10 Region 5 test with a 0-1 record.
The Beavers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fairview for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Corry will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 43-26 non-league win over Titusville (Titusville, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
