The Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ) softball routed the host Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ), 10-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Sabercats (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Sunnyside was routed by Mountain View (Mesa, AZ), 6-2, in a non-league bout.

The Thunder now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Mesquite for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 8. Desert Vista will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.
