The Laguna Creek Cardinals baseball team (Elk Grove, CA), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Bear Creek Bruins (Stockton, CA)

The Bruins now hold a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lodi for a San Joaquin outing on Wednesday, April 14. Bear Creek will confront a Flames team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over West [Merrill F.] (Tracy, CA). The Flames record now stands at 10-5.

Next, the Cardinals confront the Davis Blue Devils (Davis, CA) in a Delta Valley outing, on Monday, April 12. Laguna Creek will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a 3-8 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Lincoln (Stockton, CA).
