September 21, 2021: Columbia, MD 21045 The Long Reach Lightning volleyball team (Columbia, MD), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD)
The Gladiators (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Centennial (Ellicott City, MD). The Eagles come into the Howard County challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Centennial defeated Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Glenelg started off strong against Long Reach with its passing and serving. The second set was tighter, as Long Reach played with aggressiveness and Glenelg had too many unforced errors. In the end, Glenelg just made more plays in the end. The last set was Glenelg back to its normal self and taking care of business with key offense from multiple players.
