New Mexico High School Basketball - West Mesa overwhelms Menaul
December 8, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM), saw West Mesa's basketball squad wallop Menaul by a count of 81-45.
With the victory, West Mesa upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to play the Cavemen in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Cavemen come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Carlsbad won 54-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Panthers play the Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Menaul will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 69-64 non-league win over Thoreau (Thoreau, NM).
