The Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) basketball knocked off the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 52-32 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rams (6-16) will now prepare for their test against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Valley was beaten by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 74-45, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Onate for a 5A District 3 test on Tuesday, January 17. Gadsden will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 36-29 non-league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Knights record now stands at 12-7.
