Kansas High School Basketball - Salina Central knocked off by Valley Center

February 17, 2023: Salina, KS 67401

The Valley Center Hornets basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Salina Central Mustangs to 34 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host South for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Valley Center will battle a Cougars team coming off a 41-38 non-league win over Maize (Maize, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 8-10.

The Mustangs (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Andover (Andover, KS). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Andover ran past Newton (Newton, KS), 41-31, in a non-league contest.
