December 9, 2010: Hartley, TX 79044 The Gruver Greyhounds (Gruver, TX) basketball nipped the host Hartley Tigers (Hartley, TX), 53-49 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Greyhounds (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Panhandle was tipped by Borger (Borger, TX), 51-44, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sunray for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 11. Hartley will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 52-32 non-league loss to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-5.
