The Gators (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Buccaneers come into the 5A District 3 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Barbe nipped Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA), 32-28, in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sulphur for a 5A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 29. Lafayette will meet a Golden Tors team coming off a 75-14 league loss to Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Golden Tors record now stands at 4-4.
