February 2, 2022: Harrisburg, NC 28075

The Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) basketball nipped the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 56-54 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Mavericks (17-4) will now prepare for their test against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers go into the 4A Conference 58 test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Piedmont was tipped by Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 60-46, in a non-league test.

The Ragin' Bulls now own a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Lake Norman for a 4A Conference 57 test on Saturday, February 5. Hickory Ridge will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 57-34 league win over Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-3.
