Connecticut High School Basketball - Abbott RVT edges Shepaug Valley
January 19, 2022: Washington, CT 06793 The Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT) basketball nipped the host Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT), 39-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Wildcats go into the Connecticut Technical test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Wolcott RVT got by Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT), 59-51, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Northwestern Regional for a Berkshire test on Friday, January 21. Shepaug Valley will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 37-30 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-2.
