October 16, 2015: Martinsburg, WV 25404 The Washington football team (Charles Town, WV), was beaten 31-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV)
The Cardinals (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Mountain Ridge was beaten by Northern (Accident, MD), 21-7, in a non-league challenge.
The now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Musselman for a Eastern Panhandle challenge on Friday, October 23. Washington will meet a Applemen team coming off a 26-18 non-league win over Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Applemen record now stands at 5-3.
