Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN), 58-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Highlanders host Jennings County (North Vernon, IN) to play the Panthers in a Hoosier Hills bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Jennings County lost 64-57 in their recent non-league bout against Center Grove (Greenwood, IN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. New Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 46-28 league loss to Charlestown (Charlestown, IN).
