California High School Basketball - Twelve Bridges trounces Roseville
December 1, 2021: Roseville, CA 95678 The Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos (Lincoln, CA) basketball crushed the host Roseville Tigers (Roseville, CA), 57-31 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Raging Rhinos (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Delta (Clarksburg, CA). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Delta was trounced by Sheldon (Sacramento, CA), 31-20, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Placer for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 7. Roseville will encounter a Hillmen squad coming off a 46-8 non-league win over Union Mine (El Dorado, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 1-0.
First Quarter
Twelve Bridges came out strong scoring 20 points in the 1st quarter shooting 9/17 at 53% from the floor. Roseville struggled against the TBHS' 2-3 zone, only shooting 4/10 at 40% from the floor.
Second Quarter
The 2nd Quarter was a pretty close one between the Rhinos and the Tigers. TBHS edged RHS 12 points to 11 points in the quarter while the shooting opportunities diminished for the Twelve Bridges. The Lady Rhinos were only 5/10 at 50% while the Lady Tigers attempted 13 FG's but only could manage to sink 5 of them at 38% shooting.
Third Quarter
In the third quarter the Lady Rhinos really pulled ahead lead by their defense! Limiting the Lady Tigers to only a pair of made free-throws and 0/13 from the floor. Twelve Bridges 8/15 at 53.3%.
Fourth Quarter
The Roseville Tigers out scored the Twelve Bridges Rhinos 10 to 8 in the fourth quarter. TBHS was 5/12 overall at 41.6% while RHS overall was 4/15 at 26.6% one of those being a three-pointer and a made free-throw.
