The Fairfield Knights football team (Fairfield, PA), was ripped 49-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA)

The Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Bison come into the Mountain challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Clearfield trounced DuBois (DuBois, PA), 28-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Buchanan for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 7.
