South Dakota High School Basketball - Flandreau overwhelmed by Dell Rapids
January 30, 2024: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 The Dell Rapids Quarriers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Flandreau Fliers to 35 in the Quarriers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Quarriers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tri-Valley for a A Region 3 contest on Thursday, February 1. Dell Rapids will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 47-35 league loss to West Central (Hartford, SD). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-8.
The Fliers (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Valley (Volga, SD). The Cossacks come into the A Region 2 contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, Sioux Valley triumphed over Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD), 66-55, in a non-league contest.
