The Davis County Mustangs basketball team (Bloomfield, IA), was routed 72-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA)

The Cardinals now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Union for a Pride of Iowa battle on Tuesday, January 10. Central Decatur will battle a Eagles team coming off a 81-43 league loss to Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.

The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Big Reds/Redettes come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record.
