December 20, 2022: Cornish, ME 04041 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) and the visiting Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME), saw Sacopee Valley's basketball squad overcome Buckfield by a tally of 64-56.
With the victory, Sacopee Valley improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Hawks host Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Islesboro Central lost 65-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley (Bingham, ME)
Next up, the Bucks confront the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) in a C South challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Buckfield will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
