The West Central Area Knights routed the visiting Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder basketball team by a tally of 82-29 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Knights now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brandon/Evansville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 11. West Central Area will battle a Chargers team coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 5-4.
