The East Central Hornets baseball team (Moss Point, MS), was overwhelmed 4-0 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS)

The Trojans now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Purvis for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 6. West Marion will face a Tornadoes team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 7-3.

Next, the Hornets face the Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 6. East Central will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Red Rebels enter the outing with a 5-4 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Mandeville (Mandeville, LA).
