The Oakmont Vikings basketball team (Roseville, CA), was toppled 52-36 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA)

The Bruins now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nevada Union for a Foothill Valley battle on Friday, January 7. Ponderosa will confront a Miners team coming off a 35-33 league win over West Park (Roseville, CA). The Miners record now stands at 6-5.
