The Argos Dragons (Argos, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN), 54-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Dragons (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Trinity (South Bend, IN). The Titans go into the Hoosier Plains test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Trinity was tipped by South Bend Clay (South Bend, IN), 41-28, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 21. Pioneer will encounter a Squires squad coming off a 63-56 league win over Southwood (Wabash, IN). The Squires record now stands at 2-3.
