Texas High School Basketball - Los Fresnos tops Harlingen
February 7, 2023: Harlingen, TX 78550 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) and the host Harlingen Cardinals (Harlingen, TX), saw Los Fresnos's basketball squad knock off Harlingen by a count of 55-46.
With the victory, Los Fresnos upgrades its record to 23-10 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Rivera (Brownsville, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region IV District 32 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 7-19. Rivera lost 78-38 in their recent league challenge against Hanna (Brownsville, TX)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 32 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Harlingen will attempt to upgrade on its 11-22 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-21 record after their 55-34 league loss to San Benito (San Benito, TX).
