Virginia High School Basketball - Charlottesville overwhelms Fluvanna County
February 6, 2024: Charlottesville, VA 22901 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), saw Charlottesville's basketball squad wallop Fluvanna County by a tally of 72-34.
With the victory, Charlottesville improves its record to 22-0 on the campaign. The Black Knights host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to confront the Patriots in a Jefferson challenge on Friday, February 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. Albemarle won 62-10 in their recent league challenge against Goochland (Goochland, VA)
Next up, the Flying Flucos confront the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Fluvanna County will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 62-48 league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA).
