Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Central Wildcats (Florence, AL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 23. Loretto will attempt to advance on its 34-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 24-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL).

With the loss, Hernando drops to 11-13 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS) to meet the Patriots in a Class 7 Region 1 game on Tuesday, September 26.
