September 10, 2010: Indian Head, MD 20640 The Lackey Chargers football team (Indian Head, MD), was beaten 34-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD)
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Rams come into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, McDonough achieved victory over Westlake (Waldorf, MD), 24-14, in a league challenge.
The Chargers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stone for a Southern Maryland challenge on Thursday, September 16. Lackey will meet a Cougars team coming off a 13-6 league loss to La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
