Pennsylvania High School Basketball - East Juniata trounces Steelton-Highspire
January 27, 2024: McAlisterville, PA 17049 The East Juniata Tigers (McAlisterville, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers (Steelton, PA), 61-40 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood (Millerstown, PA). The Wildcats go into the Tri-Valley test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Greenwood was trounced by Juniata (Mifflintown, PA), 36-32, in a league test.
The Steamrollers now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Pennsboro for a Mid-Penn - Capital test on Monday, January 29. Steelton-Highspire will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 49-12 league loss to Susquehanna Township (Harrisburg, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
