The Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) basketball felled the visiting South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), 72-62 in Friday's league test.

The Royals (20-2) will now prepare for their test against Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Bison go into the Upstate Eight test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Fenton was beaten by Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 50-39, in a non-league test.

The Storm now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbard South for a Upstate Eight test on Tuesday, January 25. South Elgin will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 66-62 non-league loss to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-11.
