Oregon High School Basketball - Nyssa fells Blanchet Catholic
December 29, 2023: Nyssa, OR 97913 Nyssa Bulldogs (Nyssa, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR), 59-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Nyssa upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to La Grande (La Grande, OR) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. La Grande won 69-62 in their recent non-league bout against Imbler (Imbler, OR)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Willamette Valley Christian Warriors (Brooks, OR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Blanchet Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 55-51 non-league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR).
