Texas High School Football - Comfort routed by Lexington
October 14, 2016: Comfort, TX 78013 The Comfort Bobcats/Deer football team (Comfort, TX), was ripped 70-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX)
The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rogers (Rogers, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A-2 Region IV District 13 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Rogers trounced Johnson City (Johnson City, TX), 36-12, in a league challenge.
The Bobcats/Deer now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Florence for a 3A-2 Region IV District 13 challenge on Friday, October 21. Comfort will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 21-18 league loss to Blanco (Blanco, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-4.
