The Ashbrook Green Wave (Gastonia, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC), 52-49 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Green Wave (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Stuart Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm go into the Big South 3A test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Stuart Cramer was tipped by North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 68-65, in a league test.
