September 2, 2011: West Mifflin, PA 15122 The West Mifflin Titans (West Mifflin, PA) football overcame the visiting South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA), 21-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Titans face the Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Big Eight bout, on Friday, September 9. West Mifflin will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 27-6 non-league loss to Ringgold (Monongahela, PA).
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Summit Academy (Herman, PA). The Kinghts enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Summit Academy was toppled by University Prep (Pittsburgh, PA), 20-6, in a non-league bout.
