Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Monroe Cheesemakers (Monroe, WI) and the visiting Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI), saw Monroe's basketball squad hold off Turner by a tally of 68-62.

With the victory, Monroe improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cheesemakers travel to Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Mount Horeb lost 70-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Stoughton (Stoughton, WI)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Whitewater Whippets (Whitewater, WI) in a Rock Valley - Valley challenge, on Friday, February 2. Turner will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record.
