January 11, 2022: Shelbyville, KY 40065 The Meade County Green Waves basketball team (Brandenburg, KY), was overwhelmed 68-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY)
The Rockets now possess a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spencer County for a District 30 battle on Friday, January 14. Shelby County will confront a Bears team coming off a 77-76 league loss to Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Bears record now stands at 7-4.
The Green Waves (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Oldham (Goshen, KY). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, North Oldham was overwhelmed by Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY), 71-65, in a non-league battle.
