The Staples Wreckers football team (Westport, CT), was knocked off 27-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT)

The Blue Wave (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Rams come into the Fairfield County I challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, New Canaan knocked off Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 42-7, in a league challenge.

The Wreckers now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Greenwich for a Fairfield County I challenge on Thursday, November 26. Staples will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 37-7 league loss to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-4.
