Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard South knocked off by Christ the King

The Christ the King Gladiators basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Glenbard South Raiders to 40 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Gladiators now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Christ the King will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 62-55 non-league win over Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-5.

The Raiders (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Sabres enter the Upstate Eight contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Streamwood was outscored by Maine West (Des Plaines, IL), 75-28, in a non-league contest.
