The Saguaro Sabercats basketball team (Scottsdale, AZ), dropped 78-67 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ)

The Hawks now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cienega for a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. Apollo will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 91-88 non-league loss to Santa Rita (Tucson, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-4.

The Sabercats (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Matadors come into the 4A Desert Sky battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Shadow Mountain beat Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ), 67-65, in a non-league battle.
