The Lake Highlands Wildcats basketball team (Dallas, TX), was toppled 56-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX)

The Broncos now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. Boyd will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 90-44 non-league win over Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-1.

The Wildcats (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region II District 9 battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Creekview was toppled by Lincoln (Dallas, TX), 51-43, in a non-league contest.
