The Western Albemarle Warriors football team (Crozet, VA), was beaten 32-3 in Friday's league challenge with the host Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA)

The Flying Flucos (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the Jefferson challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Orange County was beaten by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 35-22, in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Goochland for a Jefferson challenge on Friday, October 13. Western Albemarle will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-0 league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.
