The South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND) basketball crushed the visiting Eureka/Bowdle Patriots (Eureka, SD), 57-23 in Monday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] (Steele, ND). The Pirates go into the B Region 3 District 6 test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] walloped Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock (Linton, ND), 72-33, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Gettysburg for a test on Thursday, January 25. Eureka/Bowdle will encounter a Battlers squad coming off a 39-25 non-league win over Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Battlers record now stands at 7-5.
