The Mavericks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Bend Christian Academy (Sugar Land, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Fort Bend Christian Academy was ripped by Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX), 32-28, in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. John XXIII for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Houston Christian will meet a Lions team coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Village (Houston, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
