September 7, 2023: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450 The East Columbus Gators soccer team (Lake Waccamaw, NC), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC)
With the win, West Bladen advances its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Union (Rose Hill, NC) to battle the Spartans in a non-league outing on Monday, September 11. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Union won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)
In their next game, the Gators battle the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing, on Monday, September 11. East Columbus will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC).
