Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Woods holds off Bridgeland

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX) and the host Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX), saw Cypress Woods's basketball squad hold off Bridgeland by a tally of 29-25.

With the victory, Cypress Woods improves its record to 17-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 26-8. Cypress Springs won 50-38 in their recent league challenge against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Bears confront the Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Bridgeland will attempt to improve on its 11-22 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 21-10 record after their 55-54 league win over Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX).
