In Tuesday's league outing, the Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) basketball squad edged the host Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX), by a margin of 44-37.

The Spartans (16-9) will now prepare for their outing against Langham Creek (Houston, TX). The Lobos go into the 6A Region II District 16 outing with a 17-8 record. In their last outing, Langham Creek was tipped by Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX), 56-49, in a league outing.

The Bears now own a 10-17 record. They play next when they travel to Cypress Springs for a 6A Region II District 16 outing on Friday, January 13. Bridgeland will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 36-35 league win over Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 20-8.
