Georgia High School Basketball - Westwood trounced by Citizens Christian Academy
January 19, 2024: Douglas, GA 31534 In Friday's league match, the host Citizens Christian Academy Patriots basketball squad scored a big 71-46 victory over the Westwood Wildcats.
With the victory, Citizens Christian Academy improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Georgia Christian (Valdosta, GA) to confront the Generals in a GIAA AA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Georgia Christian won 61-37 in their recent league challenge against Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Flint River Academy Wildcats (Woodbury, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Westwood will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 45-31 league loss to Oak Mountain Academy (Carrollton, GA).
