The St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) basketball felled the visiting Holy Name Central Catholic Naps (Worcester, MA), 56-38 in Tuesday's league test.

The Pioneers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against North (Worcester, MA). The Polar Bears go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, North went down by Doherty Memorial (Worcester, MA), 65-40, in a league test.

The Naps now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Peter-Marian for a Central Mass test on Friday, January 20.
